Celtic Krystal, formed in 2009, are a traditional folkgroup, playing dynamic jigs and reels, haunting airs and passionate Celtic folksongs and ballads, always encouraging audience participation.

The core duo of the group are Robin Campbell and Krystal Woodbridge.

Robin fronts the group and brings a half century of folksinging, stagecraft and guitar to the group. With a musical portfolio of TV, radio, albums, showboats, concerts and clubs he has played in many genres and aspects of ‘making music’.

Krystal creates a unique fiddle partnership. She displays a sensitivity in her approach to the jigs, reels and plaintive airs. Krystal is passionate about her fiddle playing and she brings variety and creativity to the group.

Depending on the gig, the group is augmented with musicians from the Celtic Krystal Collective.
